Yes it is possible to get up to 40 km/h smoothly
and without changing gear! This continuous variable transmission (CVT) consists of two hydraulic motors with radial pistons powered by a hydraulic pump.
At low speeds, the two motors are active. The
tractive power is therefore comparable to that of a torque converter transmission. At high speeds, only one motor is active. The maximum speed is reached with no loss of energy so that a high tractive power is retained. Fuel consumption is optimized and the sound pollution caused by the
transmission is reduced.
The M-Vario Plus combines precision and
performance and is a pleasure to use, even for
the most inexperienced users.
